Pittsville Football Earns Homecoming Win

PITTSVILLE WINS HOMECOMING GAME

The Panther football team took the field full of Panther Pride and gave their fans a dominating 58-0 win over Assumption. Pittsville is next in action at Iola-Scandinavia next Friday, October 11th.

Dalton Darr carried the ball 9 times for 202 yards and 4 touchdowns. Dawson Luther rushed 9 times for 101 yards and one touchdown. Luther also weaved his way into the endzone on a 29 yard punt return touchdown. Logan Zickert completed 3 passes for 52 yards and 2 TDs and added 48 yards rushing. Jameson Krueger hauled in 2 balls for 48 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Hartley Swan, Daryn Luther, Chase Baker, and Caden Behselich led the Panther defense to the shutout. Swan had 5 tackles and 1 INT and 1 fumble recovered. Luther had 5 tackles and 2 forced fumbles. Baker had 8 tackles and a fumble recovered. Behselich had 7 tackles. Jackson Duerr added 8 tackles. Numerous players contributed tackles to the great defensive performance.
