Pittsville used a stifling defense and a strong 1st half to jump out to a 40-8 lead en route to a 56-28 win.  Reese Grimm led the Panthers with 21 pts on 7-8 FGs(3-3 3Pt) and 4-6 from the line in only 20 minutes of action. She also had 7 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Brooke Grossman had 10 pts and was 2-3 from 3Pt, and Lana Vollert chipped in 8 pts, 4 rebs, and a steal. Brynn Friday led Pittsville with 10 rebounds.
Grimm’s 21 pts gave her 961 for her career and left her 39 pts short of 1000 for her career and 98 pts away from breaking the All-time Scoring Record for Pittsville Girls’ Basketball.
