The Pittsville Panthers went 1-4 at the Neillsville Volleyball Invitational on Saturday.

The Panthers beat Greenwood (25-16 25-19). Pittsville lost to Neillsville (20-25, 18-25), Alma Pepin (18-25, 25-15, 15-17), Gilmanton (21-25, 19-25), and Independence (26-28, 25-20, 13-15).

Leaders for the Panthers include Julia Redmond with 22 kills, Madisyn Schooley with 5 aces and 8 blocks, Halen Durrant with 54 assists, and Jocie Buchli with 35 digs.

“It was a roller coaster day,” said Pittsville Panther Head Coach Rob Heller. “We played really well at times and then couldn’t keep the ball on the court. If we find some consistancy we will be tough to play against.”

Pittsville’s next match is September 12th at home against Rib Lake.
