MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Two applicants interested in opening a mini-golf course at 1901 S Central Avenue will be seeking a rezoning from the City of Marshfield’s Plan Commission on Tuesday. Per City records, the property in question has been vacant since 2015 when the prior structure was demolished.
According to the City of Marshfield 2017-2037 Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map, the subject property is located in the Transitional Mixed Use district. The applicants, Andrew Schutz and Benjamin Austin, are requesting a zone change from the current CMU zoning to CMU-PD zoning.
If commission members approve the request, the applicants would come back to the City with a development and implementation plan.
The Plan Commission meeting is scheduled for 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 16, at City Hall. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
