The WIAA has released their playoff groupings, Coaches will meet to determine seeding tomorrow starting at 11:00AM.
In Division 5 the Stratford Tigers, the Spencer/Columbus Rockets and the Colby Hornets are all in Group B along with Amherst, Bonduel, Oconto, Stanley-Boyd, Wittenberg-Birnamwood. Spencer/Columbus lost to Amherst last year in Level 2 of the Playoffs and both Stratford and Spencer/Columbus lost to undefeated Stanley-Boyd this season. The WSN Coaches Poll 1st (Amherst), 2nd (Stanley-Boyd), 5th (Spencer/Columbus), and 8th (Bonduel) ranked teams in Division 5 are in this group. Spencer/Columbus was projected to be moved to Division 4 going into this weekend, but when the final division breakdown came out, SC ended up being the largest school in Division 5.
In Division 2 the Marshfield Tigers are in Group A with Appleton West, Ash
waubenon, Green Bay Southwest, Holmen, La Crosse Central, Menomonie, Pulaski. Marshfield lost to Appleton West in week 2.
In Division 6 the Auburndale Apaches are in Group C along with Crandon, Crivitz, Iola-Scandinavia, Marathon, Mishicot, Niagara/Goodman/Pembine, Wabeno/Laona.
In Division 7 the Loyal Greyhounds and the Abbotsford Falcons are in Group A with Clear Lake, Elmwood/Plum City, Frederic, Hurley, Owen-Withee, Turtle Lake.
Also in Division 7 the Edgar Wildcats and Pittsville Panthers are in Group B along with Assumption, Athens, Bangor, Hillsboro, Independence/Gilmanton, Royall.
