Police Reports: Airsoft Gun Drive-By and Death Threats With a Firearm

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – February 7

A 22-year-old Marshfield female reported a 26-year-old Marshfield male showing up to her workplace on two separate occasions, violating a Domestic Abuse Injunction Order. Probation and Parole was contacted and issued a warrant on the male. The male was arrested and a charge of Domestic Abuse Injunction Violation will be requested on the male through Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

On the listed date and time a local retail store employee reported the theft of over $3,000 worth of items. The employee showed officers video footage of the theft and suspects. Officers believe the suspects may be the same subject responsible for a theft that occurred at another retail store in Marshfield. This matter will be sent to the detective bureau for additional investigation.

A 20-year-old Marshfield male reported a 19-year-old Stratford male entered his residence  without permission, pointed a handgun at both the Marshfield man and a 17-year-old female inside the residence, threatening to kill them both. The 19-year-old male fled the residence after the Marshfield male called 9-1-1 prior to officer arrival. While on scene, officers received information that the 19-year-old male had again pointed the firearm at an 18-year-old Marshfield female at her residence a short distance away. The male again fled prior to officer arrival and was unable to be located.

A 19-year-old Marshfield man contacted an officer inquiring about his options related to multiple other individuals spreading rumors about him that he believed were not true. The man was given advice on how to proceed. The man informed this officer that he would proceed as instructed.

A 19-year-old Marshfield man called 9-1-1 to report that his 40-year-old mother had created a disturbance. The mother had driven away when the son called 9-1-1. Upon officer arrival, the son was shook up and explained that his mother was intoxicated and came at him with a butcher knife and threw two screwdrivers directly at him amongst other items. He was uninjured by the items narrowly missing him. The woman was contacted by cell phone and refused to turn herself in. A 72-hour no contact was enforced. Charges of Endangering Safety by use of dangerous weapon and Disorderly Conduct, both Domestic, will be referred to Wood County District attorney’s office along with Felony/Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. GEAR message sent to surrounding agencies to locate the mother.

A 19-year-old Marshfield man called stating his 40-year-old Marshfield mother was at the residence and she was not suppose to be there after an incident that occurred prior in the day. Officers arrived on scene and took the female into custody. She was transported to Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA.

While investigating a separate incident, a 19-year-old Marshfield man confirmed multiple items in the house to be stolen, listing his mother as the suspect. The items were collected for safe keeping and this report will be forwarded to Wausau Police Department for follow-up for an open theft case pending in their jurisdiction.

February 8

Complainants reported that an unknown group of teenage males drove past their home and shot an airsoft gun at their residence and one of the complainants. It was reported that the teenagers drove a light colored 4 door car. Orange airsoft pellets were found at the scene. Investigation to continue.

A 32-year-old Marshfield man called stating he was being harassed by a 30-year-old Spencer male. This is an on going issue and the 30-year-old male was given a written warning for his actions.

A 62-year-old Marshfield man was bitten by his 6-month-old Labrador Retriever after he dropped some food on the floor and attempted to grab it at the same time the dog tried to get it. The man was able to provide proof of current immunization records for the dog and he was provided the proper form to be completed by his vet. He was advised that someone from the Ordinance division would follow up with him.

On above date a 19-year-old Marshfield man took a pliers from Fleet Farm without paying for it. Loss prevention made contact with the male. The male ended up leaving Fleet Farm property prior to officers arrival. The male is also out on bond for five misdemeanor and three felony cases through Wood County. Charges of retail theft and bail jumping will be requested through Wood County DA.

February 10

Following a traffic stop, a 60-year-old Marshfield male was subsequently arrested for possession of a methamphetamine pipe. Charges were referred through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

A 37-year-old Marshfield male was taken into custody for three valid warrants and a probation hold. He was later transported to Wood County Jail.

February 11

Officers were dispatched to a local bar for a highly intoxicated female who was refusing to leave the bar and was being physical with other citizens. The female, a 49-year-old Texas woman, refused to leave when Officers requested her to do so and resisted arrest. She was later transported to Wood County Jail where charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting an Officer are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.
