5.30.19: An 18-year-old Marshfield female was arrested on a Marshfield Felony Warrant at her residence. The female was booked and transported to Wood County Jail.
5.29.19 at 2341: A 29-year-old Marshfield man was arrested after being involved in an altercation with his wife. The man was transported to the Marshfield PD for booking and released after posting the necessary bond. Charges for Domestic Abuse-Disorderly Conduct will be sought through the Wood County D.A.’s office. Lap form and Domestic Abuse paperwork was also completed.
5.29.19: Contact was made with a Marshfield male at his residence for a valid Marshfield Police Department warrant. The male was arrested and transported to the PD for booking. He was later transported to Wood County Jail after not being able to post the required bond.
5.28.19 at 1151: A man from Arpin reported having a few concerns regarding his bank transactions. Investigation was not able to substantiate any wrongdoing.
5.28.19 at 1018: A Marshfield woman reported that she was assaulted by her boyfriend, a 27-year-old Stratford male, who also damaged two of her cell phones. Investigation of the allegations lead to the arrest of the man. He was transported to the Marshfield PD for booking procedures. He was then released after he posted the required bond. A request for charges will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s office.
5.28.19: A 38-year-old Marshfield man was taken into custody in the 300 block of South Peach Avenue for a probation hold. After booking procedures, the man was transported to Wood County Jail.
5.28.19: An officer stopped a vehicle because the driver was not wearing a seatbelt, and upon contacting the defendant, he said he did not have an ID on him but provided a name and date of birth. The defendant appeared nervous and was slow on providing answers to questions such as what year he graduated, when his last traffic ticket was, and how old he was. The defendant did not match the WI DOT photo of the name he had given the officer. Due to officer concerns of him providing a fake name, he was asked to step out of the vehicle and told that there was a two-finger fast ID unit coming and that the officer did not believe the defendant was being honest. The defendant admitted he was lying and gave the officer his brother’s name because he did not have a license and finally told the officer his real name. The officer checked CIB files which indicated a child support warrant issued through Juneau County in the amount of $2,752.53. The defendant was unable to post bond and was transported to Wood County Jail after booking. The defendant was cited for OAS, seatbelt violation, child safety restraint violation, and obstructing an officer. There was also an adult female passenger in the vehicle and an infant child.
5.27.19 at 1101: A 47-year-old Loyal male was taken into custody in the West alley of the 300 block of North Central Ave in Marshfield, for three valid warrants. The male was transported to the Marshfield PD, booked, and transported to the Wood County Jail after he was unable to post the required $2,292.00 bond.
5.27.19 at 0229: A Marshfield woman contacted police after she was awoken by the sound of breaking glass at her residence. On scene, a rock was found near a second-story window which was consistent with the damages. A canvas of the surrounding area was conducted by officers. Follow-up to continue for one suspect listed by the complainant, and the landlord for damages.
5.27.19 at 0200: A 21-year-old Stratford woman came to the Department to report criminal damage to her vehicle. She stated that she went to her ex-boyfriend’s house after he messaged her to come over. After she arrived, he asked her if she was seeing anyone else, then got upset and punched her vehicle headlight, damaging it. Attempts to contact the man have been unsuccessful. He will be issued a citation for Criminal Damage to Property and advised to cease contact with the woman from now on.
5.26.19 at 1245: A complainant contacted dispatch reporting that her car had been keyed while she was working at a business in Marshfield, between 1245 and 1600 hours. Video surveillance was viewed from her place of work and a neighboring business. Investigation to continue.
5.26.19: Officers were dispatched to a residence in Marshfield because the upstairs tenants were fighting. Contact was made with a 23-year-old Marshfield female and a 51-year-old Marshfield male. The female was taken into custody and transported to the Wood County Jail. A request for charges will be filed with the Wood County District Attorney’s office.
5.25.19 at 2310: A Marshfield man reported hearing a disturbance between a male and female coming from the apartment next to his. The involved parties had left prior to police arrival, however, a roommate who witnessed the event stated it was only verbal and contact was later made with the male who was involved with the disturbance and corroborated that it was only a verbal altercation. Contact with the female was unsuccessful and will be followed-up with later.
5.25.19 at 1945: A Marshfield woman reported a physical altercation between her and her 24-year-old boyfriend, whom she shares a child with. The male left the scene prior to officers arriving. The woman did not know where her boyfriend would go or how to contact him. The male is out on bond for Domestic Abuse and is on probation. A request for charges will be filed with the Wood County D.A.’s office.
5.25.19 at 0857: A Marshfield woman reported that she found what she believed were pry marks on the door of her downstairs storage closet. She told police that she had not noticed the marks on her storage closet door when she stored a snow shovel in there in late April. She has very recently stored items in the same place and noticed markings and slight damage to the door and door frame at that time also. She does now know of anyone who would have done it. No further report.
5.25.19 at 0253: A 27-year-old Marshfield male was in the 200 block of West 7th Street passed out on the terrace. The male was taken into custody for a probation violation. The male was transported to Wood County Jail, with a PBT of .234.
5.24.19 at 1845: At the listed date and time officers were dispatched to South Maple Avenue in Marshfield for a reported altercation over a pet pot-bellied pig. Upon arrival and investigation, a 40-year-old Marshfield woman was arrested for Disorderly Conduct-Domestic Abuse. Through further investigation, the other individual that was involved in the altercation, a 45-year-old Marshfield male, was arrested for Invading Privacy. Both parties were transported to Marshfield PD where the female was released after posting bond and the male was transported to Wood County Jail.
5.24.19: The Marshfield PD received a complaint of an intoxicated male at a business in the 800 Block of Central Avenue in Marshfield. The man was a 39-year-old from Medford and was taken into custody on a probation hold. The man was turned over to a Taylor County Deputy, who transported the male to Taylor County Jail.
5.23.19 at 2011: A 22-year-old reported that while he was driving on West Upham Street, a group of three teenagers were riding their bicycles in the middle of the road. The 22-year-old told officers that he honked his horn to tell the kids to move and one threw a rock at his vehicle, which caused the windshield to crack. The complainant said the kids went southbound on Fig Avenue and he did not see where they went after. The complainant could not describe the bicycles or give many details about the children besides the fact that one was wearing an orange sweatshirt. Officer patrolled the area and did not locate any children matching the description given.
5.22.19 at 1529: A Marshfield woman came to the station regarding a charge on her bank account from a local insurance agency business. She stated that this same situation occurred in April, in which a charge was made for the same insurance client. The agent reimbursed the money. Due to this occurring again, she requested police contact the business to determine how they are charging her account in error. Investigation to continue.
5.16.19 at 1858: A 23-year-old Marshfield male was taken into custody for a P.O. hold. The male was transported to Marshfield PD for booking procedures and later transported to the Wood County Jail.
