Complainant reported that their wallet went missing while at the Dollar Tree. The complainant was uncertain if the wallet was stolen or if he had misplaced it.

A 40-year-old Marshfield man reported being harassed by an unknown person online.

9.4.20 at 1811
Officers responded to a location on the 1400 block of N Peach Ave. for a disturbance that occurred between a 28-year-old Marshfield female and a 47-year-old Marshfield female, who have a mother/daughter relationship. The daughter was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and later transported to Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

A 39-year-old Marshfield man reported his bike was stolen from his back yard. During a canvas of the area, officers located the bike behind a residence in the 900 block of S Central Ave. Contact was made with a male subject who admitted to being involved in the theft of the bike. The bike was recovered and the male was taken into custody and interviewed. The male was released and a request for charges will be sent to the Wood Co DA Office.

An unknown male called Wood County Dispatch and reported a disturbance at the 1600 block of E Blodgett St.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old Marshfield man for a DOC warrant after he turned himself into officers at the Marshfield Police Department. The man was then transported to the WOSO Jail and was turned over to staff.

A Marshfield woman reported an ongoing disturbance at the 2300 block of W 5th St. Following an investigation, A 53-year-old Marshfield male was taken into custody and transported to the Wood County Jail. Charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, substantial battery, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

A 41-year-old woman reported that her daughter, a twelve-year-old Marshfield juvenile, was followed (in the vicinity of the 100 block of N Central Ave) on 9.8.20 1500 – 1510 by a dark-colored van with tinted windows and also a man on foot wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up. The woman wasn’t sure if this was just a coincidence but she stated it did cause her daughter to be afraid. She felt this should be reported. The detective bureau will follow-up on this.

While conducting a warrant pick up on a 33-year-old Marshfield man, additional criminal offenses were discovered. The man was arrested and transported to the Marshfield Police Department for booking procedures and an interview. The man was then transported to Wood County Jail. A request for charges will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office for Child Abuse, Child Neglect, Poss. Heroin, Poss. THC, Poss. Drug Paraphernalia, Felony Bail Jumping and Misd. Bail Jumping.

The complainant reporting discovering damage to the window frame in the boy’s bathroom on the northern hallway of the school (St. John The Baptist Catholic School). The damage is consistent with someone repeatedly whittling away the lower frame.

A woman who resides in Indiana had contacted her local department, which directed her to contact the FBI regarding ongoing internet harassment from a 32-year-old Marshfield woman. Contact was made with the complainant via telephone. She indicated that the suspect is using alternative names and tagging the complainant on her social media accounts. The Indiana woman has an Indiana restraining order they directed her to the FBI, which in turn sent our department a brief narrative on the complaint to follow up on. The Indiana woman sent emails of the messages allegedly from the Marshfield woman, however, they do not specifically mention the complainant, nor is there any specific 00 dates or media account it was sent to. The woman will need to provide more detailed information regarding this matter. Additionally, some of the information Bullard provided the FBI was from 10 years prior, which she indicated was from the last week.

A Marshfield woman stated she received a letter in the mail regarding a claim from the State of Arkansas Department of Commerce Division of Workforce Services. The woman stated she has never once lived in Arkansas or ever filed for unemployment. She wished for it to just be documented and that they did not ask for any of her personal information. She was also advised to put a fraud alert on her credit report for extra security. No further action taken.

A Marshfield woman reported damage to her vehicle which occurred at the 600 block of W. Blodgett Street while it was unoccupied and legally parked. The woman believes a 72-year-old Marshfield man fell into her car. She stated the man came into the establishment and indicated he took a bad fall outside but never indicated he had fallen into a vehicle. The officer is attempting contact with the man to see if he fell into the woman’s vehicle. Officer advised the woman that this would more than likely be a civil issue he if had no intent to fall into her vehicle and damage it. The officer made contact with the man and he confirmed he fell outside the establishment. He advised I could provide the woman his phone number.

The complainant reported that a 38-year-old female that has been staying with him for over a year is there now and wants her removed. The female reported a disturbance on 8-29-20 (20-12737) in which she left the residence and was then later invited back by the complainant. The complainant was advised to draft a trespassing letter to the female and not invite her back to the residence. The complainant also made reference to the female making false accusations against him. I made contact with the female who said she is not in danger, there are no disturbances, and she may leave when she is able to. It was confirmed that she stays there multiple times a week for over a year. Both the complainant and the female were advised to settle their differences when sober and to seek separation when they are able to.

Walmart Loss prevention reported that a retail theft occurred on the above-listed date/time. It was stated there were two suspects, a 23-year-old Marathon man, and a 49-year-old Rothschild man, both individuals that I recently issued citations for retail theft. Once officers review video and the stores report, officers will proceed with the request for charges on both men for retail theft.

Walmart loss prevention reported to multiple retail thefts committed by a 49-yea- old Pittsville woman, an officer had just issued a citation for retail theft. Officers will forward a request for charges for retail theft after review video and report(s).

The complainant reported that an unidentified female entered Target and selected multiple items in addition to a Shark Robot Vacuum and Dinomite Back Pack and left the store with those items out an emergency exit. She did not pay for any items selected. Information was sent out to attempt to identify the female.

The complainant reported a suspicious text and e-mail exchange related to an employment opportunity. Investigation revealed it was likely an attempt to gather her personal information. Although her critical identifiers were not compromised, she was encouraged to place a fraud alert on her identity through the credit reporting agencies and to review her credit reports when they arrive. The original job posting was removed by the posting site. She was advised to not communicate further with the suspect.

The complainant reported a disturbance with her 29-year-old husband. The disturbance included his slamming the car door and the window breaking. The disturbance did not meet the criteria of a domestic abuse incident.
