MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – September 17
A traffic stop was conducted in the 1200 blk of E. 18th St. during which K9 Rika alerted to the odor of a controlled substance within the vehicle. Several items of contraband were located and collected. A 22-year-old Marshfield male was taken into custody and transported to the Wood County Jail. A request for charges will be sent to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.
September 20
While investigating a separate incident, a 44-year-old Marshfield male was arrested for outstanding Marathon County warrants. The male was arrested and a line meet was conducted with Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.
A local school principal contacted police and reported one of her student crossing guards believed there was a male video recording her and other students from his window while they were performing crossing guard duties. Contact was made with the 67-year-old Marshfield male who resides at the address. The male denied recording the children and allowed officers to search his residence for recording devices. No recording devices were located but the apartment was in need of care. The male was open to receiving assistance.
September 23
A 22-year-old Marshfield male called to report an incident involving him and his girlfriend, a 19-year-old Marshfield female. As a result of the investigation, the man was arrested for Battery and False Imprisonment Domestic Abuse related. He was transported to the WOSO jail. A request for charges will be sent to Wood County D.A. ‘s office for the previous listed offenses.
