4.21.19 at 2013: A traffic stop was performed for an OAR (OWI related) violation. A search of the vehicle was conducted subsequent to the odor of marijuana emitting from within the vehicle. Controlled substance items were located. Ultimately an 18 year-old Marshfield female was arrested for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Marshfield Police Department for booking procedures and was later released. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.
4.20.19 at 1148: A Marshfield male reported that his mailbox was damaged sometime during the night on either April 19 or 20. Officers responded to the scene and photographed the damage. Complainant advised that he did not have a vehicle description or any idea who would have struck it but would contact dispatch if he gathered more information.
4.19.19 at 1644: A Marshfield male reported to police that he was approached three different times by individuals that he did not know, who threatened him to stay away from his ex-girlfriend. The complainant did not want anything done, however, did want the incident documented because he has intentions of getting a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend in the future.
4.19.19 at 2130: A Marshfield female reported that a 37-year-old Marshfield male caused a disturbance and broke a door. That act created fear, which caused the victim to request a 72-hour no contact. The male was taken into custody and after medical clearance was transported to the Wood County Jail. PDC was contacted.
4.18.19 at 1542: A Marshfield resident contacted police and reported a mobile phone stolen from their residence between April 15 and April 18. The complainant could not provide any identifying information other than there was a crack across the front of the screen and a crack on the back across the camera. The phone went missing from the side of the complaint’s bed and did not give anyone permission to use or take the phone. The complainant suspects a 16-year-old female as the person who took the phone.
4.14.19 at 1016 (Reported): A Marshfield male contacted police requesting that officers contact a 49-year-old Marshfield man who has sent inappropriate text messages to the complainant’s phone. The complainant stated that he had told the male to leave him alone and has also attempted to block him with his phone. Contact had been made numerous times with no success. The officer will continue to attempt contact.
