Police Reports: Officers Locate Man with Dementia

Marshfield Police Department Reports:

9.12.19 at 1145: A woman reported that a male subject just walked into her residence without consent. Contact was made with a 37 year-old Marshfield male. The male was arrested for criminal trespass to a dwelling, booked, and later released. Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA.

9.12.19 at 1015: Wood County Sheriff’s Department requested assistance in locating a vehicle for the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department. An 84 year-old Pardeeville male had left home at 1015 hours. He has dementia. OnStar was tracking the vehicle. Officers made contact with the man and advised him of his family’s concern. He was disoriented related to his location within the state. The man came with the officer to the police department until a family member arrive to care for him at 1730 hours. Officer completed a driver condition report.

9.12.19 at 0740 (reported): A woman reported that she and her boyfriend, a 30 year-old Marshfield man had an altercation earlier that morning. The Marshfield man was arrested for disorderly conduct.

9.11.19 at 0913: A Marshfield woman stated that her 22 year-old daughter keeps sending her and her male acquaintance harassing texts and Facebook messages, even after being asked to stop. The daughter was notified to stop, and she said she would. She was warned that any further harassment will result in citations.

9.10.19: A Marshfield woman turned herself in at the Marshfield PD for valid warrants through Marshfield PD and Portage County. She was booked at Marshfield PD and was then transported to WOSO Jail.

9.10.19: Contact was made with a Marshfield woman in the 100 block of E Upham Street. She was arrested for a valid warrant through Marathon County. She was transported to the Marshfield PD for booking and later transported to Marathon County Jail after not being able to post the required $500 bond.

9.7.19 at 1418: A Marshfield man reported that an argument had occurred, and upon investigation, was revealed to have been between the complainant and a 26-year-old Stratford woman. After further investigation the Stratford woman was arrested for Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Abuse enhancer.

9.7.19 at 1219: Complainant called 911 advising a 36-year-old Marshfield man attempted to enter the complainant’s residence by climbing through a window and pushing in the front door. As a result of the investigation, the 36-year-old male was placed under arrest for domestic-related Disorderly Conduct. The male posted bond at Marshfield PD and was released.

9.7.19 at 0543: A Nekoosa woman reported that her driver side mirror had been broken. She told police that she believed her ex-boyfriend, a 47-year-old Marshfield man, had broken it, due to a recent break-up. Officers contacted the man, and he was issued a citation for a separate issue.

9.7.19: A 19-year-old male was taken into custody for a valid Wood County Warrant during a traffic stop. The 19-year-old male was transported to Marshfield PD for booking procedures and later released after posting the required bond.

9.6.19 at 1937: The complainant reported two small children inside a car, unsupervised, behind a bar. The complainant advised the children were left alone in the car for approximately 5 minutes. The complainant stated a female wearing a pink sweatshirt got into the car and drove east. Contact was made with a 26-year-old Marshfield female who told officers she was dropping off a check for her babysitter. Dispatch confirmed the 26-year-old had a revoked license due to an alcohol-related offense. The female was taken into custody and transported to the Marshfield PD for booking procedures. The two children were in good health upon officer inspection.

9.6.19 at 1116: Two officers were dispatched to the Probation and Parole office in Marshfield. The call was in reference to an active warrant due to a probation violation. Officers were able to contact the man the warrant was for and take him into custody. He was taken to Marshfield PD where he was booked and then transported to Wood County Jail. The man was identified by his WI DL and Probation and Parole agents.

9.6.19 at 0932: While conducting a routine traffic stop, the suspect had given officers false information regarding his name and identity. Later during the stop, it was discovered that the man had lied to officers and was taken into custody. The man was booked at Marshfield PD then released. The man is on probation through Portage County. Copies will be sent to the Portage County Probation and Parole office.

9.6.19: A 44-year-old Marshfield male was taken into custody on an active DOC warrant. The male was transported to the Marshfield PD for booking procedures and later transported to Wood County Jail.

9.6.19: A 36-year-old Neillsville man was arrested in the 1900 block of E 26th St for a probation violation. He was transported to Marshfield PD for booking procedures, then transported to the Wood County Jail via a transport officer.
