Marshfield Police Department Reports

12.20.19 at 1034
Loss Prevention Personnel at Walmart reported they had a female in custody for retail theft. The 35-year-old Arpin female altered prices on items totaling $609.55. She was taken into custody for retail theft, transported to the Marshfield Police Department, and subsequently released. Charges will be forwarded to the Marathon County District Attorney’s Office for retail theft.

12.21.19 at 0945
A 19-year-old female reported non-consensual sexual contact from a 41-year-old Marshfield male on four separate occasions since late November 2019 while she was living with him. The male was arrested, transported to the Wood County Jail, and later released after posting the required bond. Charges are being requested through the Wood County D.A.’s office.

12.23.19 at 1324 at 1836
A resident of West 14th Street reported to officers that a package was delivered by UPS to his home while he was at work. He stated that when he arrived home he was unable to locate the package which was supposedly left on his front steps. He stated he gave no person(s) permission to take the package. He has no suspect(s).

12.26.19 at 2153
On-duty manager of Perkins contacted police and reported three individuals had just left Perkins restaurant without paying for their meals. The manager stated there were two males and a female, all in their mid-twenties, who did not pay. One male and the female exited first and stated their friend who went into the restroom would pay for the meal. The male then came out and stated he was going to have the male who already exited come back in. None of them came back in and they left in and older model, dark colored, midsize truck that was all rusted out. Possible a Dodge Dakota. The vehicle was not located and video of the individuals will be attempted to be obtained.
