Police Reports: Special Response Team Activated to Resolve Issue

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – March 26

A 40-year-old Marshfield man contacted police and reported the listed item stolen from his front porch between the listed time frames. Langreck also had some other garden decorations knocked over and damaged as well that were in the area of the flag was located. Langreck did not give anyone permission to take the flag nor does he have any suspects who would have taken the flag.

March 27

A Marshfield man reported that his girlfriend, a 24-year-old Marshfield woman had physically attacked him during an argument. The female was later arrested and transported to Wood County Jail. Charges of disorderly conduct, battery, domestic abuse and bail jumping are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

A complainant reported that her door had been secured prior to leaving her home. After returning home one of her doors appeared to be ajar. No property was reported to be missing or tampered with. The complainant believed the person in question was most likely an ex-roommate who vacated the premises months prior. Police identified the ex-roommate as a 19-year-old Marshfield woman. Reported communications between the 19-year-old and the complainant indicated the Marshfield woman believed she still had property at the residence. Investigation to continue.

A 29-year-old Marshfield man reported his roommate, a 38-year-old Marshfield man, was making threats to hurt him and kill himself. Officers contacted the man at his residence and probation was contacted. Probation placed a hold on the man and he was transported to the Wood County Jail.

March 31

A 29-year-old Marshfield woman called dispatch stating she needed emergency assistance and then hung up the phone. A second party then called saying the woman was just involved in a physical domestic with a 35-year-old Marshfield male and that the woman was possibly barricaded inside of the residence. The Special Response Team was called out to the location and the woman was removed from the residence safely. The 35-year-old male was later taken into custody without incident. Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA for DC & Battery – domestic related, Failure to Comply, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The male also had 2 valid felony warrants.

An officer from the Park Falls Police Department forwarded over a report for follow up that occurred in the Marshfield Police Department jurisdiction involving a 52-year-old Park Falls male and a 31-year-old Baraboo man. After review of report both parties involved were at fault. Contact for both parties was unsuccessful due to both phones no longer in service. Also, there was no confirmed address for the Baraboo male. The Park Falls Police Department was contacted and will attempt further contact with parties involved for further follow up if needed.

April 1

A Marshfield resident called stating his 19-year-old son was causing a disturbance at a local bar. Officers arrived on scene and took the 19-year-old Green Bay male into custody for disorderly conduct. The 19-year-old was booked and later released.
