  • 11.17.18 at 21:38: Security called dispatch regarding a 26 year-old Lac Du Flambeau male lashing out at staff and causing constant problems. Staff advised officers that they believed the male party was under a protection order in Vilas County. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the Marshfield Medical Center has custody of the male due to a court order in Vilas County. Staff advised due to the male’s behavior they would be exploring different options to get the male moved to a new facility.
  • 11.17.18 at 16:32: Complainant advised yelling and loud noises were coming from an apartment. Contact was made with a 33 year-old Marshfield male and a 25 year-old Marshfield female. After speaking with both parties involved, it was determined that a verbal dispute had taken place between the two parties. Both parties agreed it was best to go their separate ways for the evening.
  • 11.16.18 at 19:02: A 27 year-old Whitehall woman called 911 indicating a 32 year old Spencer male was going to shoot her in the face. Dispatch learned the call was associated with the Marshfield hotel room. Responding officers entered the room to find it empty, but in disarray. The woman called 911 in Marathon County to report she was OK and was directed to come back to the location of the original call. The woman provided false information to investigating officers and was arrested. The woman denied making the original allegation and it could not be independently substantiated. Charges of Obstructing an Officer and two counts of Bail Jumping are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office. The woman was not able to post bond and was taken to the Wood County Jail.
  • 11.16.18 at 22:00: a 32 year-old Marshfield woman came to this department to report ongoing text messages from her estranged husband. The woman believes he was upset that she had left without telling him and intoxicated while messaging her. A voicemail message was left with the husband informing him to stop messaging his wife and she will contact him the next day. The woman had questions on divorce proceedings and PDC assistance. She was advised to contact the department if the messages continued.
