Port Edwards Gets Win over Bowler

Halftime:  25-23 Port Edwards
The first half saw the Bowler Panthers build a 21-11 lead at the 6:00 minute mark.  But then the Blackhawks defense stepped up their game and held the Panthers to just 2 points the rest of the half.  Port Edwards went on a scoring run of their own as they scored 14 points to take the lead, 25-23 going into the half.  In the second half the Blackhawks came out strong and went on a 13-2 run to extend the lead to 38-25 at the 9:20 mark.  Bowler came back strong however to close the gap to just 7, 42-36 with 3:30 left to go in the game.  Port Edwards was able to withstand the charge and won with a final of 51-41.  Taylor Martin led all scorers with 29, going 15-17 from the free throw line and pulled down 17 rebounds to go along with 9 steals.  Isabella Stevens led the Panthers in scoring with 16 points.
