Port Edwards Girls Fall to A-B

The Port Edwards girls twice narrowed a big lead by Almond-Bancroft in the second half, but A-B prevailed for a 45-32 CWC win.

Almond-Bancroft jumped out to a 12-4 lead in the first half, and went into halftime leading 28-16.  The Eagles’ Carlee Lamb had 13 of her game high 17 points in the first half.

The Blackhawks were able to cut the lead to 8 a couple of times in the second half, but couldn’t get closer.

Talyor Martin led the Blackhawks with 18 points.

Lamb had 17 points to lead Almond-Bancroft.
