BOTOX® Does More Than Reduce Lines
Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) Prairie Run Dental has continued to grow as a practice over the years from its start as a small office across from the police department.
Now in a spacious practice along Prairie Drive just off of McMillan Street in Marshfield, the office not only offers general dental procedures like fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals, but also traditional braces and MTM aligners for all ages. Since September, they are offering BOTOX® and dermal fillers as well.
Have you wondered what BOTOX® and dermal fillers are and what benefits they can provide? Prairie Run Dental is your local go-to location if you want to know more or are ready for treatment.
BOTOX® and dermal fillers are used to create similar results, but work in different ways. Dermal fillers reduce facial creases that occur over time, and can also help plump the lips. They do so by injecting hyaluronic acid, a substance the skin already has but loses over time.
A quick and simple procedure with little discomfort, BOTOX® takes up to 10 days for full effect and lasts 3-6 months. BOTOX® works to reduce wrinkles and the appearance of fine lines by temporarily interrupting communication to the muscles that produce them. Some of the typical areas of treatment include the forehead, outskirts of the eyes, and smile lines.
BOTOX® may also be a treatment option for migraines caused by overuse or clenching of the jaw muscles. It can also aid in treating TMJ problems caused by clenching and grinding.
