Jessica Lewer Shares Apparel Designs
Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) Local print shop Premier Printing is supporting local artists by featuring their designs on its website.
Web and graphic designer Jessica Lewer of Marshfield is the first “Feature Artist.” She designed a selection of apparel for sale and will receive a portion of the proceeds toward her pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
The apparel is available by visiting PremierPrintinginc.com, and navigating to “Feature Artists” under the Shop tab. Lewer’s selection includes llama-inspired graphic tees and infant wear, and variety of humorous designs which graphic designers and photographers will appreciate, available in short and long sleeve.
“The llamas were inspired from the family pajamas that are so popular,” said Lewer. “I wanted to do a unique animal. Now you can get your baseball tee and wear your favorite comfy pajama bottoms.”
Another shirt represents the phrase “mind over matter” with a line between the two words. “I like those type of brain teasers where you have to think a little bit how you would say that,” she said. “I chose the Stencil font because that’s the font that’s historically used by the military, and I think mind over matter requires a lot of strength.”
Lewer embarked on a career change about three years ago and has since completed her associate’s degree in graphic design focused on Web and Interactive Design. She continues to pursue her education while working full-time, raising her three children, and volunteering extensively.
Local artists are invited to share their designs with Premier Printing for a chance to become a Feature Artist. Contact Lindsey at [email protected] for more information on how to have designs featured on various products.
