Suet Cakes Can Be Picked Up for Free at Country Store

Migratory birds are struggling to forage for food in the deep snow. To help save the birds, Prince Corporation is the latest business to partner with Central Wisconsin Country Store. They have donated 1000 suet cakes that can be picked up for free at the store on Peach Avenue starting 10:30 a.m. on April 18.

“Our Feathery Friends are struggling with the recent snow cover. There have been many reports of bird dying due to lack of natural food sources in our area,” said Becky Krause, Vice President. “Wild birds need protein to help them maintain their body temperature and survive. Suet is an excellent source of fat and protein for many backyard birds. Robins will eat crumbled suet cakes right off the ground and other species of wild birds will peck from the whole suet cake.”

A manufacturer and wholesale distributor in Marshfield, Prince Corporation manufactures three lines of wild bird feed, lawn seed, and agricultural feed and distributes product to independent Midwest retailers.

“We are proud members of the Wild Bird Feeding Industry. Please stop in for your free suet cake and help us save our feathered friends.”

Local businesses Solutionz has also partnered with Central Wisconsin Country Store (operated by ProVision Partners) to help feed the birds

The Country Store is also offering 10% off all wildlife feed (excluding corn and up to $20 discount), through Friday, April 20th. The store (106 S Peach Ave) is open 8:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday and 8:00am-1:30pm Saturday.
