A little change here and there can go a long way.
Groups can help out The Hannah Center through Project Baby Bottle, which takes the simple act of dropping change into a provided baby bottle for one month into “change” for the women it serves.
“Groups can join the fun of Project Baby Bottle just by calling The Hannah Center and letting us know! We can then discuss how many baby bottles their group will be in need of and we can have those ready to be picked up the same day,” said Tricia Fancher, Program Coordinator. “Over the last 25 years we have saved a lot of baby bottles for this purpose.”
Business, organizations, and churches can be involved at the same time, and in the past several have competed to see who could fill the most baby bottles. Funds support The Hannah Center’s mission to assist women in life crisis through compassion and guidance.
“We use baby bottles to represent our core values of Preserving LIFE, Providing a HOME and Promoting CHANGE in each woman and child we serve,” said Fancher. “Baby bottles also represent the little lives that have been changed through the love of our home as we work to end the cycles of poverty, homelessness, abuse and addiction in our community and our children for many years to come.”
