****Missing Person Update****
On 08/18/18 around 1520 hours a traffic stop was made by Marshfield Officers near the intersection of E Veterans Pkwy and N Vine Ave after a receiving a driving complaint involving a vehicle and driver believed to match the descriptions associated with the missing person case. The driver was identified as the missing juvenile Michael Atkins. Michael was transported to the department and was reunited with his mother. Investigation is ongoing. The Marshfield Police Department would like to express thankfulness to the community for the ongoing support and gratitude for all those who assisted with tips and information which ultimately led to the safe return of Michael.

ATTENTION: MISSING ENDANGERED JUVENILE
Please be on the lookout for 17-year old Michael D. C. Atkins who is currently listed as missing and endangered. He was last seen driving a 2006 Pontiac Vibe, Gray in color with hail damage and rust on the rear hatch, license plate 339-XRJ. Please call the Wood County Dispatch Center at 715-387-4394 if you observe or have any information on Michael’s whereabouts.
