Public safety officials and first responders from throughout Central Wisconsin lined their vehicles up outside of Aspirus in Wisconsin Rapids this morning to pay tribute to the medical workers there, as has been done at health care locations elsewhere in the U.S. and Wisconsin.
At 2 p.m. today, Marshfield area law enforcement and first responders are scheduled to drive a lap or two around the Marshfield Medical Center campus with their lights on as a tribute to health care workers.
The route will be roughly St. Joseph’s Ave. to Kalsched St. to Oak Ave. to Doege/Western St.
“Our staff largely will observe from windows inside due to patient care and to observe social distancing,” MMC said in a statement.
