Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) A franchisee for Qdoba Mexican Eats, a fast casual restaurant chain, is still “very interested” in pursuing a Marshfield location.
Milwaukee-based Roaring Fork Restaurant Group, the largest Qdoba franchisee nationally with 58 locations, including Stevens Point and Wausau, had originally planned to be part of a multi-tenant development in front of Shopko. However, that development fell through.
“We’re still very interested in Marshfield,” said Ron Stokes, president of Roaring Fork Restaurant Group. “We have another opportunity that we’re pursuing. We certainly want to be in that community and are working hard to make that happen.”
While there’s no concrete timeline for the project, ideally it would take place in 2020, said Stokes. However, that depends on what development becomes available.
“Eventually we’ll be there for sure,” he said. “100 percent.”
