Local businesses are coming together to support Marshfield’s frontline healthcare workers. The latest business to donate their inventory of PPE gear is Quality Roofing, Inc.
“We donated all of our inventory of PPE gear that was relevant to the medical field,” said David Peters. “This includes N95 masks, full body suits, and goggles that we typically use to remove asbestos in our line of work. We realized there was a shortage and put together what we had.”
Peters, whose wife Lyndsay is an RN in the ER at Marshfield Clinic Health Systems, hears firsthand the struggles faced by medical personnel during the pandemic. For him, he is thankful that his employer cares enough to help make a difference.
“David is also a firefighter for the Vesper Fire Department. We are so proud to have people like him on our team at Quality Roofing,” said Pat Begotka, owner. “He and his wife, Lyndsay are incredible! We feel blessed to have them in our lives and in our community.”
