Wisconsin Rapids, WI— It was a frustrating night for the Rafters as they fell to the Green Bay Rockers by a score of 8-2 and got swept in the series. They were out hit for the second straight game. This time they were out hit 12-8

There was a rain delay in the 1st inning and then in the top of the 2nd the Rockers acquired 4 runs that put them on the front foot early. They were able to get 2 hits and the Rafters gave up 2 errors. The pitching was in question as there were bases loaded and Rockers 2nd baseman, Andrew Harris, was hit by a pitch that advanced Cooper Kelly home.

The Rafters followed it with a run of their own in the bottom of the 3rd as 1st basemen, Jack Basseer, sent a driven ball into right field that sent Brandon Rogers home from second. The Rockers then added 3 more hits in the top of the 5th that put the rafters in a tough position. Jack Basseer was the story of the night on the offensive side for the Rafters as he smacked a ball into deep right center field for a solo home run. The Rafters gave up another run in the top of the 7th and were not able to rally back.

The Rafters will have to move on from this series as they hit the road to take on the Fond Du Lac Dock Spiders at Herr- Baker Field. First Pitch is scheduled at 6:35
