Stevens Point (OnFocus) – It took an extra period, but the Wisconsin Rapids girls took down SPASH 65-61 in Wisconsin Valley Conference action.
Vanessa Vechinski had 16 points for Rapids to lead all scorers.
Tahlia Moe had 13 points to lead SPASH.
Megan Clary had 15 for Rapids and Chelsea King added 11 points.
Three other Panthers scored in double figures: Brittany Beadles with 12, with Kylie Klismith and Lauren Strasman each scoring 10 points.
