MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) –

October 6

Complainant reported his 33 year old brother paid off credit card debt with his debit card. The 33 year-old stated he did not want to make interest-only payments and paid off $1763.82 in credit card debt without his brother’s permission. Charges will be directed to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

October 7
Complainant reported her husband slapped and punched her in the face approximately two months ago. Contact was made with a witness that confirmed the incident happened. Investigation on-going.

October 8
A 55 year-old Marshfield man was taken into custody in the 1200 blk of S. Central Ave pursuant a traffic stop for OWi 8th offense, felony possession of THC, felony and misdemeanor bail jumping. After hours Probation and Parole was contacted. The male was transported to the Wood County Jail. A request for charges will be filed with the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

At 1800 block N Central, a minivan was stopped for an equipment violation. Police K9 Zso Zso completed an exterior vehicle sniff on the vehicle and alerted to the odor of a controlled substance(s) emitting from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in locating suspected Drug Paraphernalia, substances that field tested positive for the presence of THC and substances that field tested positive for the presence of Methamphetamine. Charges will be requested against a 45 year-old Owen (Medford) female through the Marathon Co DA’s Office. The female was transported to the Marathon Co Jail.

October 15

A traffic stop was conducted at McMillan/Central. K9 Zso alerted to the odor of a controlled substance from within the vehicle. As a result, request for charges is being forwarded to the Marathon County DA’S office for possession of drug paraphernalia and felony bail jumping.

October 17

Officers responded to a one-vehicle crash at Veterans/Oak. Upon inspection of the vehicle, an open intoxicant was found. Officers searched the vehicle and illegal items were located. A 22 year-old Marshfield male was arrested. Charges will be requested through the Wood County District Attorneys Office for possession of methamphetamines.

October 20

Complainant reported that two juveniles were throwing rocks at his windows. Officers located two juveniles in the area. No damage was caused to the windows. It was also reported by a witness that one of the juveniles was yelling at her and causing a disturbance. A referral was completed with Wood County Human Services for one of the juveniles.

The Complainant reported that a 19 year-old female broke a door handle, hit the complainant and pulled her hair. It was learned the 19 year-old has the mental capacity of a 4 year-old and the complainant is paid to be the 19 year-old’s caregiver. The 19 year-old was counseled on her behavior. The complainant was told to contact her employer and voice her concerns.

Following an investigation of a physical disturbance a 22 year-old Marshfield male was arrested for Domestic Battery. The male was transported to the Wood County Jail. The victim waived the 72-hour no contact prohibition. A request for charges will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s office.

Complainant reported that a 77 year-old Marshfield man was being disorderly on E 2nd Street. He was warned for his behavior and he was trespassed from the property for a minimum of 6 months.
