City Leadership Presents Potential Tax Rate Increase
Marshfield (OnFocus) Common Council of the City of Marshfield held a Special Common Council Meeting on Monday to review the recommended 2021 budget.
City leadership recommended a $.43 tax hike to a rate of $9.97. Stevens Point’s current rate is $9.95. This would be a 4.5% tax rate increase over the last year, increasing revenues by $585,000 in 2021.
