MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield’s music community is coming together for a cause with the upcoming Riffs for Relief benefit concert, happening at Bakerville Bar on Saturday, April 6th, starting at 4:00 pm. The event will feature local musicians including joe g., Doug K, Pete Pagel, Adam Bluhm, Allen Brothers, and Jimmie Rhoades, aiming to raise funds for the Soup or Socks (SOS) food pantry and clothes closet. (Doug Kroening, joe g., The Allen Brothers, and Pete Pagel will be performing together as a full band.)
Riffs for Relief is a collaborative effort aimed at supporting those in need within the Marshfield community. The event, hosted at Bakerville Bar (10631 Co Rd B, Marshfield, WI 54449), will include a smoked meat contest, a 50/50 raffle, and various raffle baskets. Hewitt Meats is generously providing ribs at-cost for the event, demonstrating community support in action.
Interested participants can join the smoked meat contest for a $40 entry fee, which includes two racks of ribs from Hewitt Meats. Registration and payment are due by March 20th. To sign up, contact Tyler Korth directly.
The event encourages community involvement by welcoming public judges for the smoked meat contest. For a $10 donation to SOS, attendees can participate as judges and support the cause.
