Submitted to OnFocus – The City of Marshfield will be starting an overlay project on South
Adams Avenue beginning this week. The work will consist of a closure from West 8th Street to West Arlington Street.
Arlington Street/Adams intersection will be open to east and west traffic, however the entire intersection of 8th/Adams will be closed.
The work performed will be concrete panel, curb, and storm structure repairs in preparation of an asphalt overlay. Weather dependent, the project is expected to take approximately 3 weeks to complete. During this process, South Adams Avenue will be closed to all through traffic and only local traffic will be allowed.
Residents living on Adams Avenue in the block between 8th Street and Arlington Street are asked to enter the work zone from Arlington Street to access their property. Any questions or concerns please contact the Street Division at 715-486-2081.
