Rocket News – It’s been a great year so far in the Art room! Students have worked on a variety of projects that include learning about artists, artistic methods, and cultural art styles. It’s so great seeing students drawing skills continue to develop.
Art club has had a slow year, however, we have an upcoming trip to Firehouse ceramics in Marshfield, a successful popcorn fundraiser, and new shirts for our members!
The 6-12 student art show opens in May, select middle school students will have work displayed at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in February and March for the grades 5-8 show, and select students grades 9-12 will exhibit pieces in the annual Cloverbelt art competition (this year in Cadott).
