Rogers Cinema announced shortly before noon that it would be keeping its theaters closed on Monday:
“With so many states closing bars, restaurants and other public gathering places, I feel an obligation to close our theaters today, March 16th, for the safety or our communities and our employees,” stated Scott Koran, president of Rogers Cinema.
“We will take the day to gather additional information and make decisions on what the best course of action is going forward. Whether that is staying closed temporarily or instituting social distancing policies limiting the number of people in auditoriums and lobby areas.”
