Saturday Morning Police Pursuit Leads to Drug Arrest

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – On Saturday, March 30 at 10:42am, a 45 year-old Marshfield female was arrested for felony fleeing an officer after she failed to stop when officers initiated a traffic stop. The pursuit lasted approximately 4.3 miles and 6 minutes.

After she was taken into custody, K9 Rika alerted to the presence of a restricted controlled substance coming from within the vehicle. Methamphetamine was later found in the vehicle.

The female was transported to Marathon County Jail and a request for charges will be sent to the Marathon County District Attorney’s office for Felony Feeling, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Felony Bail Jumping.
