MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Today at approximately 2:51pm, Richfield Rural Fire Dept. responded to a semi rollover with entrapment on County Road A near Heggelund Ln.
Upon arrival, first responders found the semi upside down in a field with the tanker still in the roadway. Passersby helped the driver get out of the semi prior to fire department arrival.
The tanker was empty, therefore, no product was spilled as a result of the incident. The driver was transported by Marshfield Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
County Road A was shut down for approximately 2 hours while the semi and tanker were removed. Richfield was assisted by Marshfield Ambulance, Wood County Sheriff’s Department and Mid-State Truck Service.
