Nekoosa (OnFocus) – Shiocton came to town and took a 14-0 lead on Nekoosa, looking to blow the game open. Nekoosa fought back and trailed 14-8 at the half, before Shiocton took control in the second half to pick up a CWC-Large win, 27-8.
Cordero Ysquierod scored the Papermaker’s lone touchdown, a 58 yard run in the second quarter.
Nekoosa picked up 160 yards rushing, while the visitors had 165 yards on the ground.
Shiocton held a big advantage through the air, collecting 160 yards while limiting the Papermakers to just 21 yards passing.
Ysquierdo rushed for 112 yards on 15 carries to lead all rushers.
