South Central Avenue Crosswalk Repairs Scheduled

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The City of Marshfield will start repairing colored crosswalks on South Central Ave the week of July 15th. The project limits run from 3rd Street to 17th Street.

Intersections with actual repairs include: 3rd, 4th, 9th, 11th and 17th. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with work starting on the north end (3rd) and heading south. All work performed is in the northbound lanes – traffic going south will not be affected by this work.
The work performed will be concrete panel work in the intersection, primarily the colored crosswalk.

Pedestrians using south central crosswalks should avoid the above intersections if possible. Duration of the project, weather dependent, will take around two weeks to complete.
