The Playoff Picture is starting to take shape with teams starting to see if there is a path for them to the playoffs, lets see where the teams of the South Central Conference stack up.

Qualified
Berlin (5-1, 4-0 SCC)
Wisconsin Dells (5-1, 4-0 SCC)

Eligible
Nekoosa (5-1, 3-1 SCC)
Remaining games: @Adams-Friendship, Ripon, @Wisconsin Dells
The Papermakers have put themselves in a great place to make the playoffs for the first time since 2019. They have two very winnable games in the next two weeks to clinch a spot.

Work to do
Waupun (4-2 2-2 SCC)
Remaining: Wautoma, @Berlin, Mauston
The Warriors also have a good path to the playoffs, they can become eligible (with good tiebreakers) with a win over winless Wautoma.

Mauston (2-4, 2-2 SCC)
Remaining: @Ripon, Wisconsin Dells, @Waupun
Mauston is in almost the same boat as Waupun. A game against a winless Ripon, a tough game against a top team, then they play each other. Mauston will need that Week 9 win more as their tiebreakers are not as good as Waupun.

Adams-Friendship (2-4, 1-3 SCC)
Remaining: Nekoosa, @Wautoma, Berlin
The path is not good for the Green Devils, as they have to play league leading Berlin and 3rd place Nekoosa in weeks 7 & 9. A-F will need an upset in one of those two games to have a chance.

Wautoma (0-6, 0-4 SCC)
Remaining: @Waupun, Adams-Friendship, @Ripon
Of the two winless teams in the SCC, Wautoma has a slightly easier path, step one is a win in Waupun this Friday.

Ripon (0-6, 0-4 SCC)
Remaining: Mauston, @Nekoosa, Wautoma
Well, the Tigers need to win out, it starts with a home game against Mauston. Win that on to the next step.

Check back next week for an update on everyone’s playoff hopes.
