SPASH Boys Dive Past Wisconsin Rapids
It was the home finale for the SPASH boys swim team tonight as they faced Wisconsin Rapids in the final dual meet of the conference season. In front of friends and family for Seniors/Parents Night, SPASH brought home the victory with a 135-31 victory. The Seniors: Landon Bicknase, Andrew Dziak, Conner Hoffman, Joey Kozicki, and Gavin Stelzer were recognized for their commitment to the team. In a fitting ending to the meet, Senior Landon Bicknase won the final individual event of the night, the 100 breaststroke and the all senior relay of Dziak, Hoffman, Kozicki, and Stelzer won the final event of the night which was the 400 freestyle relay.
In addition to Bicknase, the other individual wins of the night were Junior Henry Bowling in the 200 free, Senior Hoffman in the 200 IM, Senior Bicknase in the 50 free, Junior Jacob Faust in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke, Sophomore Tony Raczek in the 100 free, and Freshman Henry Marx in the 500 freestyle. SPASH completed their dual meet season undefeated and hold a 4 point advantage going into the conference championship meet which is Thursday February 6th at Wisconsin Rapids.
