SPASH Boys Slide Past DCE
SPASH hosted DCE in a Wisconsin Valley Conference match at the Portage County Youth Soccer Complex Thursday night with SPASH coming away with a 3-2 victory.
Tyler Falkavage paced the Panthers with 2 goals and an assist and Jeremiah Landis added an assist. DCE outshot the SPASH 17-11, but Coy Brish provided 80 minutes of solid goalkeeping, recording 15 saves. Aissen Witter made 8 saves for the Evergreens. DCE goals were scored by Hezekiah Mletzko and Jacob Gissel. Mletzko and Brian Lorge also added assists.
“Great team effort by the boys tonight. They put together 80 solid minutes of consistent effort, easily playing their best match so far this season. That was critical to our success as Everest is such a strong team. Disciplined and well coached, they were a handful for us tonight. Happy to get the win and happy for our kids and program.”
