La Crosse (OnFocus) – The SPASH Panthers Gymnastics Team are headed to the WIAA State Meet after taking first at the La Crosse Sectional on Saturday.
SPASH took first at sectionals with 136.025 points.
Eau Claire Memorial finished second with 134.925 points. The Marshfield Tigers just missed out on a trip to state as a team, taking third and earning 134.65 points.
Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln finished seventh with 127.95 points.
Katelyn Trowbridge of SPASH took first on the bars with 8.725 points. Trowbridge finished 4th in the All-Around with 34.5 points.
Marshfield’s Hannah Merkel took second on the bars with a score of 8.7. Merkel finished 5th in the All-Around with 34.425.
