Spencer boys basketball drops road game at Pittsville

PITTSVILLE – Matthew Kissner poured in 31 points to lead Pittsville to a 59-52 win over Spencer in a nonconference boys basketball game Tuesday night at Pittsville High School.

Kissner made 14 of 24 shots from the field and added a pair of free throws in the win for the Panthers (8-6).

Nate Karau had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Kyler Bainer hit four 3-pointers and scored 12 points for Spencer (6-7).

Spencer plays at Columbus Catholic on Thursday.
