OWEN – Four Owen-Withee players scored in double figures to help push the Blackhawks to a 60-38 victory over Spencer in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Thursday night at Owen-Withee High School.
Dylan Tomczak scored 16 points, Kevin Kitlica and Aaron Ovyn each scored 11, and Jeff Kalepp had 10 for the Blackhawks in the home victory.
Spencer shot just 32 percent from the floor (17 of 53) and missed eight of its 12 free throw attempts in the loss.
Nata Karau had 13 points and a whopping 20 rebounds for the Rockets.
Both teams are now 1-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
Spencer’s next game is Tuesday at home against Gilman.
