Spencer (OnFocus) – Weyauwega-Fremont raced out to an early 21-0 start before Spencer/Columbus fought back with 32 unanswered points as S/C picked up a 32-21 CWC-Large win Friday evening.
“Weyauwega Freemont got off to a great start. We were flat and were outplayed and outcoached in the 1st quarter. Our guys really turned it around from there scoring 32 unanswered,” said S/C Head Coach Jason Gorst.
Eden Jacobson led the Rockets with 208 yards on 25 carries and 3 touchdowns.
Gage Stratman was 4 of 6 for 65 yards through the air.
“Eden had a big game on offense and Cole Timmler had a good one on defense with pig pick. Gage Stratman did a great job with onside and pooch kickoffs,” Gorst added.
Timmler led the defense with 7 tackles.
