The Spencer/Columbus Rockets have now won three in a row after a 29-0 win over Neillsville/Granton.
After a quiet first quarter, Edan Jacobson ran a TD in from 4 yards out. Then later in the quarter, Jacobson would get another TD this time from 46 yards giving SC a 14-0 halftime lead.
Late in the 3rd quarter, Gage Stratman would get his own 4 yard TD run, and late in the 4th Stratman would add another touchdown from 13 yards out.
Neillsville/Granton did a great job of shutting down half of SC’s running attack holding Austin Bacon to 32 yards on 12 carries. But Jacobson would pick up the slack carrying the ball 14 times for 135 yards.
“Our defense was great tonight,” said Spencer/Columbus Head Coach Jason Gorst. “Special teams was much improved and Brett Kasch made a couple of pivotal catches”
