Voting for the OnFocus Team of the Week, December 12 – December 18 saw three teams battle for the top spot.
When the dust settled, Spencer Girls Basketball took the title with 175 votes.
The Wisconsin Badgers Women’s Volleyball Team finished second with 139 votes. Taking third place was Wisconsin Rapids Girls Basketball with 138 votes.
OnFocus Team of the Week, December 12 – December 18
- Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Girls Basketball (nominated online) – Rapids picked up a 72-67 win over SPASH and is tied atop the WVC with a 2-0 record, 3-3 overall.
- Auburndale Girls Basketball – The Eagles picked up a pair of wins this week, 47-43 over Columbus Catholic and a 40-34 win over Assumption. Auburndale is 5-0 in the Marawood, 7-0 overall.
- Spencer Girls Basketball – The Rockets are 5-3 overall, and at 5-0 in the Cloverbelt are tied for first with Neillsville. Spencer goes on the road Tuesday at Neillsville with first place on the line.
- Colby Boys Basketball (nominated online) – The Hornets are 4-0 in the Cloverbelt East, 4-1 overall. Colby collected a pair of wins this, defeating Greenwood 91-36 and Loyal by a score of 57-43.
- Wisconsin Badgers Women’s Volleyball – The Badgers downed Nebraska in a 5 set thriller to claim their first National Title Saturday evening.
