Spencer’s Kind Edges Mosinee’s Ahles in OnFocus Athlete of the Week Voting Barn Burner

Central Wisconsin voters turned out in large numbers to support area athletes, with nearly 3000 votes cast for the OnFocus Athlete of the Week, January 24 – January 30.

The tightest race all season saw Heavyn Kind of Spencer Girls Basketball come away with the title, collecting 1,179 votes.

Finishing a close second was Mosinee gymnast Avery Ahles, who picked up 1,161 votes.

Kaitlyn Kundinger of Auburndale picked up  263 votes for third place, an impressive total.

Also garnering considerable vote totals were Jordan Denniston of Pittsville with 205 votes and Peyton Kuhn of Medford, who had 163 votes.
