MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Chestnut Center for the Arts is set to host “Spinning Plates” on Friday, April 26th from 6:00-9:00pm, offering attendees a distinctive experience combining food, music, and art.

Chef Rob Arndt, along with Marshfield’s music producers, invites guests to enjoy an evening featuring a 4-course meal and live musical performances. Each course will be designed to represent a different season, enhancing the dining experience with a touch of creativity.

“We live in a mysterious world full of color, vibration and countless potential food combinations. These three are rarely explored together, but I believe they merit closer examination through intentional listening, eating and feeling,” said Arndt, adding that he encourages everyone to attend and “experience a night of food, music and art in a way that touches all of the senses.”

“I would love to see Marshfield start gravitating towards mindfulness in what we see, taste, hear, smell and touch, and this is my attempt at bringing a fully immersive experience to the folks in the area,” he said. “The team members that have assembled to bring you this event are all experts in their field, and are uniquely qualified to bring you an experience like no other.”

The food will be completely local, with all greens coming from Produce Point (a local hydroponic produce company), and all vegetables coming from local farmers. The drinks will be mocktails, expertly crafted by Mixologist Cory Owen, that help inform the food. The music for the event will be scored by local musicians/producers Christopher Marion and Matt Osowski.

“Spinning Plates” promises an immersive experience that goes beyond the ordinary, providing a platform for culinary and artistic exploration. With a focus on quality food and live music, the event aims to deliver a memorable evening for attendees.
