Area’s Largest Farm Show Returns to Marshfield Mall this Week

Marshfield Mall will host the 41st annual Farm Show at Marshfield Mall this week. A two-day event packed with opportunity for those both inside and outside the agriculture industry, this is the largest farm show in Central Wisconsin.

The event is made possible by local sponsors.

“They help spread the word throughout the community,” said Stephanie Henning, Special Events Coordinator. “Without them, the show would not be possible. We appreciate them so much!”

This year’s show sponsors Alforex Seeds, Clark Electric Co-op, Forward Bank, Forward Insurance, Swiderski Equipment, Seehafer Refrigeration and Vine Vest North, Inc.

These sponsors will have booths, along with many other businesses. The show will feature more than 100 booths total – covering insurance, home, auto, and of course, farming.

“It’s a great event for almost anybody,” said Henning. “The show allows people to get out and participate with local companies that help the farming industry. It’s these farmers that help people get food on our table.”

Visitors will be able to learn industry info and plan for 2021 and beyond. There will also be fun opportunities for visitors to win instant prizes by spinning a wheel. Some vendors are also providing prize opportunities and giveaways. Kids can find activities just for them, too.

Food will be available at World Buffet, from food trucks, and at the Universal Dance Academy in the mall, which is hosting a fundraiser to support the dancers.

The event will be COVID-cautious, with masks preferred.

“We’re going to put more space between the booths so it’s easier for people to social distance,” said Henning. “There are also going to be extra hand sanitizing stations marked with a balloon so that they are easy to find.”

The 41st Annual Farm Show will take place on Feb. 17-18, 2021 from 10-4 p.m. each day. Admission to the Farm Show is free.
