MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – After the February primary, there are four candidates remaining on the Spring Election for Marshfield School Board. These four candidates are vying for two spaces on the Board of Education.
For the 2025 spring election in Marshfield, Wisconsin, five candidates filed to run for two open seats on the Marshfield School Board. Since there are more than twice the number of candidates as available seats, a primary election was held on February 18, 2025, to narrow the field from five to four. The remaining four candidates will compete in the general election on April 1, 2025.
They are:
- Cathy Gorst (incumbent)
- Dan Griesbach
- Dominic Pernsteiner
- Coleman Grosbier
These four individuals have advanced to the April 1, 2025, general election, where voters will select two to serve three-year terms on the seven-member Marshfield School Board.
Current board member Dale Yakaites is not seeking reelection, ensuring at least one new member will join the board.
