Stevens Point – On 11-18-18 at approx. 2:39 AM, Officers were sent to 960 Main St. (Polito’s Pizza) for a report of a disturbance in which a 24 year old male victim sustained a life threatening injury to the neck as result of an edged weapon. The male victim was transported to a medical facility and is in stable condition. The unknown male suspect in the incident fled the area on foot and his whereabouts are unknown.
At approx. 03:35 AM, Officer were sent to St Michaels Hospital concerning a second stabbing incident. A 33 yr old male victim came to the Hospital with a non-life threatening injury to his arm. Officers determined the second victim was confronted by a male suspect, consistent with the description of the suspect in the 960 Main St incident. This incident also took place in the immediate proximity of the first call.
At this time, both incidents are believed to be related. The first incident appeared to be confrontational in nature. Circumstances leading to the second incident are unknown at this time, however it appears consistent with the timeframe when the male suspect was fleeing from the 960 Main St incident.
Male suspect is a white male, appears to be in his 20’s, thin build, shorter hair with receding hairline, camo pants and a brown hood sweatshirt.
